Color, as if fashioned by Peter Carl Faberge from molten gold and platinum, decorates this chrysalis (pupa) of a monarch butterfly. Once the adult has emerged, it may be found feeding among the flowers in our bedding plant trials. You can see the butterfly wings through the transparent chrysalis in the sixth picture from the left. |
