Scientific Name:  Catharanthus roseus (L.) G. Don
(syn. Vinca rosea L.)
Common Names:  rose periwinkle; Madagascar periwinkle vinca                               
Common Pest Problems: Insects/other: thrips, aphids.

Disease: alternaria leaf spot, anthracnose (Colletotrichum) aerial phytophthora, phytophthora crown/root rot, fusarium crown rot, phomopsis stem blight, pythium, rhizoctonia.
